This job requires the incumbent to supervise the operations of the Engineering Section at an Airport Fire Station, ensuring that vehicles and equipment are effectively maintained. Functions include assigning repair work, performing mechanical and electrical repairs, testing officers for vehicle competence, and responding to fires and other incidents to provide additional cover as required.

This job requires the incumbent to supervise and assist in the coordination of the operations of the Ambulance Sections within the Fire Service. Functions include distributing medical supplies, ensuring routine maintenance checks and tests on vehicles and equipment, and supervising the implementation of triage procedures in mass casualty situations.

This job requires the incumbent to assist in the supervision of the day-to-day activities of the Airport Fire Station on an assigned shift to ensure that appliances, equipment, and manpower are in a state of readiness to respond to fire and other emergency services at the Airport and its environs. Duties include attending fires/incidents and assuming command of firefighting/incident operations.

This job requires the incumbent to supervise a group of Fire Service personnel and civilian staff engaged in the repair and maintenance of Fire Service vehicles and equipment for effective and efficient operation. Functions include conducting road tests on vehicles before and after repair and responding to fires and other incidents to provide additional cover as required.

This job requires the incumbent to inspect buildings to ensure that fire prevention and protection systems are adequate and to conduct investigations into causes of fires occurring within the assigned Division. Functions include assigning and monitoring the work of staff in the section, writing fire reports, supervising the transportation of explosives, and responding to fires and other emergencies to provide additional cover as required.

The incumbent supervises a shift of firefighters at an airport fire station, ensuring readiness to respond to fires and other emergencies, and conducting inspections for fire prevention.

The incumbent coordinates the activities of the Fire Prevention Section, examining building plans, conducting site visits, and ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.

The incumbent supervises the installation, repair, and maintenance of telecommunication equipment, providing instruction on preventive maintenance, and responding to fires.

The incumbent supervises firefighters in one of the subsections of the Water Section engaged in repair and maintenance of pumps, hoses, and valves. Functions include responding to fires and providing additional cover.

The incumbent supervises the training of fire personnel, conducting sessions on firemanship and the use of firefighting equipment, and responding to fires.
